Pillar To Post Home Inspectors Continues Rapid Growth in Housing Hot Spots Like Denver Area

Aurora New Owner Added — Colorado Continues as Franchising Mecca

(AURORA, Colorado) –The numbers speak for themselves when it comes to franchising. The industry is expected to grow by $36 billion to $710 billion this year, according to the International Franchise Association. The IFA also reported that personal services franchises were ranked No.1 among all franchise types for growth in 2017 and that Colorado was named among the top five states for franchise employment growth. Those numbers bode well for 46-year-old Mathew Martini of Aurora, who became a Pillar To Post Home Inspectors® franchise owner last month.

Veteran-Friendly Perks Strong Draw for Air Force Vet Looking for a New Career

Jamie Brough Article

Jamie Brough served in the United States Air Force from 1995 to 1999 and has since been involved with the American Legion and volunteering his time to other veterans’ organizations. So when he decided to go into business for himself, it’s no surprise he chose to become a Pillar To Post Home Inspectors® franchise owner, and will be launching his business in mid-August. Pillar To Post has been named the No.1 veteran-friendly franchise by Entrepreneur Magazine and G.I. Jobs and has also been recognized with five-star VetFran status from the International Franchise Association, one of only 100 franchisors of the 600 who participate in the program to be awarded five stars.

Pillar To Post serves residential and business customers throughout south central Alaska. The 45-year-old Brough is a Connecticut native who came to Alaska a little more than two years ago with his wife, Jenice – who will also be working in their new business – after spending the previous six years in West Virginia. Brough was formerly an account executive for a large diesel truck dealership before deciding to go into business with his wife. “We chose Pillar To Post because my research showed it to be one of the top-rated, veteran-friendly franchises in the country,” Brough said. “Given my military experience, that was an important consideration and I’m enjoying my new career.” Pillar To Post offers a 20 percent discount on its initial franchise fee to qualified veterans. In 2016, veterans made up 20 percent of Pillar To Post’s new franchisees… Read More.

Fall River man opens Pillar To Post franchise

FALL RIVER: Scott Robertson knew he wanted to own his own business after leaving the military. That’s where Pillar To Post Home Inspectors came in.

Scott Roberson Article

“I wanted to have a second career after my time in the military,” said Robertson in an interview at Good Day Cafe overlooking Fall River Road. “This is another way of me getting out in the community to support local community members in purchasing a house. If I can help educate the client, and provide a reasonable comfort level with that, then it brings me a lot of self-gratification.”

Taking a Lifetime of Experience & Putting It to Work in a New Business

Oswego residents, Frank and Dawn Herbik have opened a Pillar To Post home inspection franchise serving Kane and Kendall Counties.

Herbik Article

Frank Herbik checks all the right boxes when it comes to running a successful home inspection business. Like many of us, he’s also a graduate of the school of hard knocks, which means he tries a little harder and brings a sense of determination with him each and every day. And that’s been the case since he became a Pillar To Post home inspection franchise owner in May. The 47-year-old Oswego resident serves home buyers and sellers in Kane and Kendall counties.

Herbik formerly worked as a firefighter/paramedic from 1989 to 2003 then owned an electrical contracting business from 1997 to 2014. Afterward, he worked as a consultant. “I was a victim of the 2008 recession,” Herbik said. “I survived the recession but was unable to survive long enough to capitalize on the construction rebound in the Chicago area.” However, Herbik’s skills and expertise align perfectly with what makes Pillar To Post a stalwart in its industry by simply delivering what realtors, homebuyers and sellers desire: a thorough home inspection and concise, well-written report in a timely manner. “I have 20-plus years of experience in commercial and residential construction,” said Herbik, whose wife, Dawn, is also a partner in the business… Read More.
